Hyderabad sweat shop raid update
Almost 300 of these kids have returned to Bihar, where they are temporarily being placed in the same government detention centers where non-criminal street kids are kept, on an emergency basis, until the government decides it's safe to return them to their families. Better than the sweatshops for sure -- but not ideal. SARTHI was just appointed by the government to help find out where the kids' families are and assess if it's safe to send them back to them.
